Honor 20 specs, images and benchmark scores leaked

There have already been quite a lot of Honor 20 leaks but now we’ve got the biggest one yet, as a complete specs list has leaked alongside images, while separately the phone appears to have been benchmarked.

Starting with the design, you can see from images shared with WinFuture by Roland Quandt (a reputable leaker) that the Honor 20 has a punch-hole camera in the corner of the screen and a small bezel below the display, but a mostly all-screen design, while the back appears to be glass and houses a quad-lens camera.

This is a design that we’ve previously seen leaked and teased for the Honor 20 Pro, but some earlier rumors suggested that the standard Honor 20 would just have three rear cameras, so we’d take this with a pinch of salt.

As for the specs, which came from the same source, they state that the Honor 20 has a 48MP main camera, a 16MP wide-angle one, a 2MP macro lens and a 2MP depth-sensor.

The Honor 20 Pro is said to have similar cameras but with some improvements, such as larger apertures and image stabilization. The front camera meanwhile is apparently a 32MP f/2.0 one.

The screen on at least the standard Honor 20 is said to be a 6.26-inch 1080 x 2340 LCD one with a pixel density of around 412 pixels per inch. And while there’s no visible fingerprint scanner this is apparently built into the power button rather than the display.

The Honor 20 apparently has a Kirin 980 chipset (the same as you’ll find in the Huawei P30), along with at least 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. Finally, the battery is said to be 3,750mAh and to support 22.5W fast charging.

Not all of these specs totally match what we’ve heard before but they’re close – previously for example a source said the Honor 20 would have a 3,650mAh battery.

Flagship scores

Moving on to the benchmark, this appeared on Geekbench and listed a phone believed to be the Honor 20 as achieving a multi-core score of 9,709 and a single-core one of 3,278.

Those are roughly in line with the Huawei P30 – a phone which in our tests achieved a multi-core score of 9,730, but they’re below what the likes of the iPhone XS and Samsung Galaxy S10 can achieve.

Still, the Honor 20 is sure to cost a lot less than those phones too. This benchmark also listed the phone as having 6GB of RAM and running Android 9. None of this is confirmed yet of course, but we’ll know the truth soon as the Honor 20 range is set to land on May 21.
