No Man’s Sky is available on all major gaming platforms, but it still has to make its way on the Nintendo Switch. While nothing has been announced so far, the development team seems interested in the console and what it could be possible to do with it.
Speaking with Game Informer, No Man’s Sky creator Sean Murray recently commented on the Nintendo Switch. He stated that he loves the console, but there’s nothing planned at the time. However, the team made a lot of optimization work for the game in the past, so a Switch release hasn’t been ruled out.
It’s super interesting. I love the Switch. We’re obviously very focused on what we’re doing right now, but we have done a lot of work for PSVR to optimize the game. So I’d be interested to see what’s possible. But at the moment, we’re just very focused on what we’re doing right now.
No Man’s Sky had a very rough start, but things have been turned around for the better, with a lot of new features that have expanded the game and brought it closer to the original vision of Sean Murray.
No Man’s Sky is now available on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
